For a client of ours – one of the leading providers of business software, we are looking for Senior Java Developer.

Job Description
A senior Java developer is responsible for developing applications using the Java programming language. A developer in this position is also responsible for overseeing the execution of software development from the conceptual phase to the testing phase. Because this is a senior level position, he may also be responsible for mentoring junior developers as well as working with customers and handling research groups.

Purpose and Objectives

Our mission is to define and develop a Java Platform, comprising technologies, tools and services for creating, deploying, running and managing applications in virtualized environments and cloud.

You will be working in an agile development team which is responsible for providing first-class platform capabilities, regarding security and identity management, as well as some state-of-the-art solutions on top of the platform.

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or telecommunication technologies;
 At least 4 years professional experience at a similar position;
 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
 English: Fluent (verbal and written communication);
 Solid working experience with software technologies and frameworks like Java/J2EE;
 Performs analysis, writes program specifications and develops designs for medium to large size projects or performs analysis, resolves problems and monitors to proactively prevent problems from occurring;
 Performs technical evaluation of products;
 Engage with key stakeholders to define requirements, then design, build and test applications;
 Creative thinking, willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies;
